Assam Valley
The river-fed plains of Assam give a bold, malty, full-bodied cup. This is the classic strong tea that takes milk and sugar beautifully.
About Us
A small tea brand with a simple idea: the tea you drink should taste like the place it was grown.
Our Story
Brook On Tea began with a plain frustration: so much of the tea on shop shelves tastes flat. It has been blended, stored and moved around until the character of the leaf is gone.
So we went back to the source. We work with the gardens of Assam and the hills of Dima Hasao, where the climate gives the leaf its depth, and we keep the chain short. The tea is plucked, processed and packed, then sent to you in small lots instead of sitting in a warehouse.
We are not trying to be the biggest tea company. We want to be the one whose tea you reach for every morning.
Good tea doesn't need much help.
What We Believe
Tea is at its best soon after it is made. We pack in small lots so what you open is fresh, not old stock.
Leaf, and nothing else. No flavouring tricks, no fillers. What is on the pack is what is in the pack.
Every cup begins with someone's hands in the garden. Fair work and fair treatment are part of good tea.
Our teas are meant for ordinary mornings and long evenings, strong, honest and easy to brew well.
Where It Grows
The river-fed plains of Assam give a bold, malty, full-bodied cup. This is the classic strong tea that takes milk and sugar beautifully.
In the cooler, hilly country of Dima Hasao the leaf grows more slowly, and it shows in a smoother, more delicate cup with a clean finish.
Pick a pack, follow our brewing guide and see why fresh tea is worth the switch.
